# The Heart of the Empire

The young cat met with the council, in a grand hall of gold, 

And he listened to their words, as they told of their old. 

Stories of battles won, and peace that was sought, 

Of a kingdom that flourished, and of its leaders' thought.

The young cat was in awe, of the ancient cats' power and grace, 

And he felt small in their presence, in this holy place. 

But he also saw the wisdom, in their eyes so wise, 

And he knew that he could learn, from the stories they tell of their lives.

The council saw potential, in the young cat's heart and soul, 

And they tasked him with a mission, that would test his every goal. 

They told him of a threat, that loomed over their land, 

Of a cat with dark ambitions, who sought to take command.

The young cat was stunned, but he did not falter in his stance, 

For he knew that he must rise, to the challenge of this dance. 

He promised to protect, the kingdom and its peace, 

And to stand against the threat, that threatened its release.
